IInstructional Systems Design (ISD)
is the instructional design process most commonly used by instructional designers. The acronym ADDIE stands for the following five phases of design: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. These phases in combination with interactive supporting tools serve as the backbone for the training being developed.
It is one example of an (ISD) model. This training will enable the user to make informed training development decisions as they gain a clear understanding of the science of instructional design. A variety of ISD models will be covered, with a main emphasis on the ADDIE Model (pictured above).
